Don't Be Deceived By
Pseudo Science Mumbo Jumbo

Because of the website I am often contacted by representatives of various companies suggesting that I should promote their products. Some of them are very good and I am happy to tell you about them. For example, the Whistle GPS Pet Tracker is a device that allows you to track your dog's location and monitor heath trends. It is based on real science and technology that actually exists and offers a valuable product and service.

On the other hand, there are other products like the so-called "Pet Protector" that is a metal disc that you attach to your dog's collar that supposedly protects them from things like fleas, ticks, and mosquitoes. They use sciency sounding phrases on their website like:

"The Pet Protector Disc is made of high quality steel alloys. It is charged with a specific combination of Magnetic and Scalar waves, which after being triggered by the animal's movement (blood circulation), produce an invisible energy field around the entire animal's body."

Unfortunately, many caring and well-meaning pet owners shell out good money based on this pseudo science mumbo jumbo.

This leads us to products based on pseudo science that have become a multi-billion dollar industry in both human and pet health care. Our latest article explores the topic of homeopathic remedies for dogs. I encourage you to give it a read to learn more about homeopathy, especially if you are using it or planning to use it as a medical treatment for your dog.

While I may draw the ire of true believers in these products, and of those with a vested financial interest in promoting them, it is more important that I provide what information I can to help Aussie owners to make informed decisions that affect their dog's health and well-being.

All the Best to You and Your Aussie,

~ Anton
