I have the same situation... makes it rough to go walking and visiting. Can't do it. Loves people, but dog aggressive. Would love some help and feedback. Thanks!

She may just be a very dominant female?
Has she ever been in a fight? Is it just males or females or both she is aggressive to? Does it matter the size of the dog?

Aggression towards other dogs

I have an aussie that does not like other dogs (except for another dog that she lives with). If a stray comes in the yard she tolerates it. If a friend brings a dog over she is very aggressive and I have to put her away. She kills all animals that come into "her" yard except for the stray dogs. She sounds horrible but she is so loving to her family! Got to love the aussies - they have a zest for life!
