Aussie Puppy Nipping And Biting

by Deb Lucas
(Lewisburg, Pa)

I have an 4 month old Aussie, she also has the strong desire to nip and bite and even at 3 months was really bad at it, she is my third Aussie, second female as a pup. The stomp your foot, yelling "No" bite only works if in your tone of voice can back it up. I found that with this female even when you're giving her attention she still will want to bite you, so it's just trial and error, some Aussies you just I feel you need to be a little firmer with them, but still gentle at the same time.
