Bringing Home My Aussie This Weekend!

I am so excited to be picking up my very first Aussie this weekend! He is a beautiful 10 month old red merle male. I've been searching for the perfect boy for nearly a year now and I have finally found him. I have trained dogs in obedience and agility for 15 years, but have just now decided to get serious about showing in agility. I think this boy will make the PERFECT agility companion. Wish me luck!

Hi,
Last summer I purchased a "miniature" Aussie from breeders in WI. He is adorable, but way to much energy for me. I have been doing my best, but am close to giving up. I live in OH in a rural setting, big yard to run in, but fear he just won't run and keep going. I've tried obedience training.

He jumps up and bites, not so much as to hurt, as to play, but it is becoming borderline.

Do you have any suggestions?
