Bum High

My 5 month old Aussie has a high bum, is this just a stage of puppyhood that he will grow out of? He has his first show in a month and am worried he will still have it. I have 2 other Aussies and don't remember them having high bums but they weren't as heavy built.

Yes, that is typical for a 5 month old pup. That's why hardly anyone shows pups at that age. He will straighten out.

I'm guessing you think your Aussie's rear end is too big/high? I have a 55 lb. female and her bum doesn't appear to be high. So I'm guessing that she was born to have a "booty".
