Chewing / Destructive Behavior

by Rachel
(La)

We've had our Mini Australian Shepherd Maggie for for almost 5 months, she is 6 and 1/2 months old. She's wonderful, housebroken, listens to basic commands and stays inside mostly because she's been easy to train, she's very smart.

The past week though, she's torn up the sheet rock in two different rooms in the house, scratched at it and then bit off pieces until she created a hole there in the wall. She has several chew toys and knows those are the only acceptable things to chew on. Not sure why she's being destructive all of sudden.

Any suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated.
