Cooper Our Handsome Young Boy

by Wilda
(FL)

When we first got Cooper, I thought he was funny looking (see Cooper, the Court Jester, story), but he is now a a little over a year old, and has turned into quite the handsome young man. He is also quite the charmer.

He follows me everywhere, of course, is rather protective of me, will bark, and howl at people who get too close, but after a while he simmers down; and how he loves to run and jump. When we get home from an outing, he jumps on every piece of furniture with glee.

For an active little guy, he still does take his naps throughout the day, which is a God send. He's very attentive, and obedient for the most part (when we are watching him, at least). There were times I thought he and the Chi would be the end of me, and sometimes still do, but for the most part it's a little better between them.
