Dog Bit My 13 Year Old Son
My Miniature Aussie bit my 13 year old son. My son was creeping behind me and jumped up to scare me. My dog bit him on the leg. He immediately knew he had done something wrong. I am worried that this could happen again. He is extremely protective / possessive of me (more so than anyone else in the family). Does this mean he does not love my son or that he was simply trying to protect me? Would he have done the same if my Husband had tried to scare me (my husband provides most of his care - I think my dog sees him as the master). How can I get my dog to see my son as more of a master?
