Finding A Good Puppy

Where is the best place to find a puppy?

Note from Anton: I usually recommend to avoid pet stores and consider rescuing an Aussie in need of a home. Otherwise you will want to find a reputable breeder. Here are some links that might help:

Finding a Puppy

If you are not interested in a rescue Aussie, please find a breeder in your area. Anton has numerous breeders listed on this site. If you are interested in a Mini or Toy Aussie there are also breeders in that category on this site.

Aussie's are the most loving, most intelligent, most fun dogs I have ever had. We have two, a mini and a toy. They are 1 1/2 years old and we adore them. We have two other dogs also = yes we have four dogs.

Good luck with your search.

Note from Anton: Australian Shepherds and Miniature Australian Shepherds are considered separate breeds.
More information here. Also, just to clarify, we don't have a separate Toy Breeder Directory on this site although some Mini breeders may also breed Toys.
