First Visit to the Snow!

by Snow Days

Hello, we are taking our Aussie to the snow for the first time and were wondering if she needs a jacket, shoes, etc?

Ours lives for the snow!
by: Molly and Dave

Your Aussie wont need anything at all, but she will get some snowballs stuck to her belly and the long trailing leg hair (no harm ever comes from this). Be prepared to have a ball watching her romp and play in the snow!

Today we got 6 inches of snow overnight and some of it was sliding off the roof. Our Aussie Aikau was attacking it and biting it as it fell on his head! Then he would take off through the snow, running so fast that his hind legs threatened to overtake his front, then he would stick his nose right under the surfaces and take a big bite of it at full tilt!

They love cold, just don't leave her feet out too long, they frostbite easily. Mine won't wear shoes, some don't mind.
