How To Stop My Aussie From Play Biting Our Mini Dashound?

by Marlene
(Shelby, Michigan)

Our 2 year old female Aussie will not stop play biting and dragging around our 10 month old male Mini Dashound by his neck and collar!! I'm afraid she is going to hurt his little neck. Ive tried spraying water – she likes it. And trying diverting attention with coins in a can. Does anybody know what I can do or have any ideas to stop this behavior. I have to watch them constantly. They are both neutered. Thanks Marlene

Find an obedience training class. Your local pet store may have a trainer. You will want to get your Aussie and your Dachshund in the training class together. You will need two handlers, one for each animal.
