Jealous Or What?

We have a 4 year old that we got at 9 weeks. We rescued a red merle that has a growling problem and snaps at Presley the laid back 4 year old. Tonight one was sitting on either side of me. Happy the rescue we've had almost 9 months just growled and wouldn't stop. Pounced on her, both females. She ripped Presley's ear pretty bad. We scolded her and checked them both out. Just the ripped ear on Presley.

We don't know her background I think she was dumped on the road and lived on the streets. We got her from the foster family that had her about 10 days. She's very loving and gaining our trust. Any ideas we don't know?
