Looking For Breeder Who Will Leave A Full Tail

by Leila
(Marin County, California )

I'm looking for an Aussie shepherd puppy but really want one that has its full tail intact. I'm concerned about the naturally bobbed tails due to the genetic defect aspect.

Does anyone know of any breeders who will leave them on? I'm from the UK originally where it's been illegal for many years and I just can't think in a "docked" way.

I know it's a bit far from Cali. but there are a few breeders around that leave the tail intact. I have gotten a pup from such a breeder, you can contact her on Facebook, Sharon Aussies.

There are many breeders in the US who will leave the tail full, but they require that you choose your puppy right after the pups are born and pay for the puppy at that time (or else place a significant deposit). The tails are usually docked at around 3 days of age. Once you have found some good breeders in your area, ask them.
