My 8 Week Old Aussie's Right Ear Has Suddenly Flopped Foward

My 8 week old Aussie's right ear has suddenly flopped forward. Both ears flop down but, the right one is suddenly almost over his eye. Any suggestion as to why? He does not wince when we touch it. It does not appear to be red. Could this possibly be from teething? If so, how long could it be like this. Can I help to straighten it back out.

yes, its due to teething, it will last awhile, but nothing to worry about. My boy's ears did the same thing for a few months, he's fine. I thought he looked so cute at the time.

My male did same thing sometimes perfect then one side off then other all during teething once the teething was done ears were perfect.

My month toy aussie's ears suddenly rose up

Hi Aussie Community,

I need advice. My 4 month toy aussie suddenly has both of his ears sparked up. He had both flopped about a week and half ago and now they're always up. Will they flop back down after his teething phase? Any recommendations to help them flop back?

Several years ago My Aussie had one ear that was down and the other sticking up- Breeder told me to massage the ear as it was caused from thicker cartilage so every day I would massage that sticky up ear and after a few months it went down and stayed down.

Now I have a lil puppy and she is 14 weeks old and her one ear has suddenly gone droopy!

Is this temporary? I’ve read that it indicates her muscle is weak that cortisone shot can help strengthen it- has anyone done this?
