My Bonnie Girl

by Gale
(Pensacola Florida)

Bonnie was my first Aussie. I brought her home when she was 8 weeks old. She was born on Halloween. (should tell you something about her) At first she was scared and cried all night. After about a week she was home. What a sweet little girl. I got a min Schnauzer a couple of weeks later and they have been the best of friends.

I mated Bonnie with a Dark brown and white Aussie. She had six pups born 1 April 2009. 5 females and 1 male. All born within 3 hours. The colors varied. One female was all red merle just like moma. The boy (blue eyes) and one female were red merles but with white one their faces. Looked like twins. One female was liver with a little white on her chest. The last Miss Dixie Lilly green eyes, red merle but lots of white. What a beauty. I kept her and the male, which I named Sweet Baby James.

The pups are come on a year old. What a lively household I have. Such fun. Bonnie is still my number one and I hers.
