Nipping HURTS

Hello. My Red Tri Aussie starts training classes next week. I walk her twice per day and sometimes she loses focus of the walk and attacks me (her herding instinct is strong at 6 months old). Not sure what triggers this. Any advice on how to deal with a dog that gets aggressive and comes back stronger when told "Down!"? I have six days until training starts and I need quick advice how to deal until then. She is sweet but can be unpredictable and turns on me! Any tips? Thanks!
