Two years ago I received an 8 week old female red merle Australian Shepherd puppy (Cheyenne) as my high school graduation present from my dad. Which I love to death she is my baby. I can not have kids so my pets are my kids. So for about a year I have been saying I wanted another Aussie to be her brother but I could not decide if I wanted to go back to the breeder I got Cheyenne from or rescue one.

I had always wanted a deaf Aussie (I know I am weird). I run a no kill animal rescue so I know all about animals being unwanted but I also liked knowing Cheyenne's parents and having an idea as to her genetics and temperament. Well this week I was posting an ad on Craigslist for our rescue and saw an ad for a free Aussie. I found out he was 3 years old and deaf. I decided I had to have him. I picked him up last night and he is so great!

My 7 month old nephew malls him and he could not care less. Cheyenne also loves him to my relief (she's is a big mommas girl and a princess). But I am having trouble finding a name for him. I want a country western name that sounds like something you would name a human. Can anyone help me? If yall could email me suggestions cnierdieck@yahoo.com
