Overnight In Bed?

by TinaMarie
(Columbus, OH)

My Mini Aussie, Kuma, is nearly 4 months old. Since I've had him (nearly a month) he has slept in bed with me the entire night without accidents. Suddenly, he will only sleep for 2 hours at a time and continues to wake me up to play or potty. I've tried picking up food/water 4 hours before bedtime—not working. I've tried vigorous play/exercise 1 hour before bedtime—not working. I really don't want to crate him overnight—I love cuddling with this little guy—but I need my sleep!

I would try to crate train him at this point. You might only have to use the crate for a very short time.
