Pinkish Nose

I have a mini Aussie now 7 months old. I have noticed that the white fur on of her nose has an underlying pink color that sometimes get pinker in color.

She also gets very red eyes... could this be allergies?

I am thinking of putting her on a raw food diet.

Any thoughts?

Thanks

Pink Nose
by: Nonnie

Our female mini Aussie, Bailee Joy, is a Blue eyed, Blue Merle. She gets the same symptoms you described when she gets nervous or anxious about things. She is almost two now. The first time it happened was at her "new puppy" exam.

Her skin gets pink under her white hair on the top of her nose. The whites of her eyes are pink / red. Inside her ears, the skin gets pink and she develops small red bumps. We thought they were some type of bug bite. There are probably some other areas, but these are the ones that are most prominent.

We just reassure her a lot during these times. It goes away.
