Question About Blue Eyes On A Red Tri

So I know the BET gene is rare. I also know that eyes can change over the first few months of a pups life. So, with that said, how do breeders selling BET pups know they will stay blue if it is so common for blue to turn brown/amber/gold?

This is my guy from my recently litter. I know the stud dog's parentage has no history of producing blue eyed tri's; however, I am unsure of the female's side.

I have been told they will definitely turn golden over time. Is there something you look for to determine this to be the Case?

His litter mates include a red merle with 2 blues and a black tri with brown eyes.

Thanks for your time.
