Guide To Australian Shepherd Training & Care

Size By Age Of Dog

My male Australian Shepherd is 5 months old and weighs 20 lbs. Everyone keeps asking me if he is a minnie and we bought him from a kennel that had both minnies and full size. He is suppose to be full size but I am concerned that the seller was mistaken (she had so many litters of pups).

It seems like your pup is small , I have aussie pups that are 8 weeks old and some weigh 10 pounds and 10.5 pounds. They are standard size, Not all are made as big as others , but yours seem small.

Too Big to Fly?
by: Anonymous

My mini aussie boy is 7 weeks old and is about 10 inches from ground to top of the head and weighs about 7 lbs. Will he be too big to carry on a flight in three weeks?
