Smell

I smell a fowl order once in a while from my 2 yr old Aussie when he licks hisself... think it is coming from his bottom. Do they emit an order and what is it?

Sounds like it could probably be his anal glands. Some dogs need them to be emptied (squeezed) now & then as they get plugged up. Simply done by the vet. Really should get him checked out, there could be complications.

It may be from his anal glands. You may want to take him to your vet and have them checked. Some dogs have problems emptying them on thier own and need help expressing them. Hope this helps!
