Toy/Food Possessiveness

by Leanne

Any suggestions about how to end toy/treat possessiveness?? I've tried "trading" something better for treat/toy. And I've tried dropping yummy pieces of food in his food dish. Nothing working yet. Please help!! Thanks.

Is the pup possessive with other dogs or is it with people? "With people" is a more serious problem. If that's what it is, you could try feeding ALL food directly from your hands. Also pup should EARN all the food.... sit, down, tricks, etc...
