USA, Texas, 3 Year Old, Teddy
Teddy was the pick of the litter and was given to our family as a gift when my daughter was younger. She grew up and moved out and went to great pains to find an apartment that allowed her Teddy. Bad idea. Teddy is used to being outside on 2 acres and running free. He chewed and ripped and tore up the apartment. I promptly brought him back home where he is happy and content on his 2 acres and also behaves perfectly in the house when I bring him in for company. Sadly I am not a dog lover (although treat them good) I do not want dogs. Also I am very busy working and going back to school. Soon I will have to begin clinical training for nursing and need to move back into town to an apartment therefore Teddy needs a home. He is affectionate and loyal, true to his breed. Also very lovely. His bad habit is to get out of the fence and chase other animals... herding instinct I guess. I am assuming he is just bored and needs a job. He would make a wonderful ranch dog as he is tough and wirey. He has done some agility and would be great at that too. Also seems to love to swim when I get a moment and take him to our neighborhood lake. He is frightened of strangers especially men but he will warm up... it just takes him awhile. I guess I can't fault him, I feel the same way. :) If you are interested, please call 713-410-0057 and leave a message. I can text you a picture but don't have one on hand at time of writing. He is chocolate and white.
