Chiron and Bailey

Chiron and Bailey

Chiron. A double merle. Started life as the smallest of the litter. Now 70 pounds and is taller than all his litter mates. But that is not the whole story, so here goes.

Chiron was born 03 Dec. 2005 he was the 7th born of 9 males (no females). The people who had them had posted a sign saying they were $150.00 to $200.00 a piece but they didn't mention the white aussie. I saw him through the fence and fell in love ith him at first sight. They said that they may have to put him down due to his color and under developed right eye. I asked them how much they want for him, they said free. Well the price was right so after he turned six weeks I returned to collect my puppy.

He was to become a family pet but he was four months old when I recieved some bad health news. I have Muscular Dystrophy. So I was going through a professional trainer for obedience. I began training him for service work. He was doing double duty. He is now 3years old, has a CGC (Canine Good Citizen), he is service trained (allowed everywhere except sterile areas ( ie. hospital ORs) He is allowed to be a dog at home but when his vest and leash are on, he is in work mode.

The picture is of Chiron (the small white fluffy boy and Bailey our other Aussie). They are best buds.
