We've been working hard on the site and have added more new information and
features for Australian Shepherd Lovers.
In our Aussie Health section we take an in-depth look at those pesky little
critters fleas. Even if your dog doesn't have fleas you might want to have a
look at this information so you will know what symptoms to watch for. Fleas
can be much more than just a nuisance especially for puppies, sick and elderly
dogs. Since fleas are parasites that live off of blood they suck from their
hosts a severe infestation can result in anemia and potentially death. Starting
with an infestation of only 25 females in only one month they can reproduce
to 250,000 fleas! That's why it is important to know the signs and stop their

We've also expanded our Agility section. Dog agililty is a great sport for
Aussies and we've added info about dog agility clubs and sponsoring organizations
as well as a dog agility training equipment guide.The bar jump and tire jump
are two of the most popular agility obstacles and we've added pages all about
them in this section. We will be including more information about the other
obstacles such as weave poles, see-saws, tunnels, etc. in the near future.

Free Online Aussie Jigsaw Puzzles
I love this new section. We've
taken some of our best Aussie photos and made them into jigsaw puzzles that
you can play online right in your browser for free! We already have three different
puzzles you can try and will be adding more soon.
Just use the "Next" and "Prev" links to go to the other
puzzles. Please be patient it takes a few moments for the puzzles to load, but
it's worth it. Let me know what you think.

We've added a site blog to let you know about new additions and updates to
our site. Of course this newsletter is a great way to stay informed but now
