12 Week Old Blue Merle Female Got Parvo

Misty got her 1st Parvo shot from the owners I purchased her from, and received her second shot September 15, I don't know where my 12 week old blue merle female got Parvo on 10-2, and was taken to the vet within 4 hours of discovery of the Parvo. She rec'd professional help from our vet. She's expected to have a full recovery. I've been told Bleach destroys the virus. How can I be sure that I've killed the virus in the house where she vomited and the outside areas where she went to Potty? Please advise.

Puppy with Parvo

Hi,
I had the same situation with one of my puppies @ 9 weeks. He survived and we had a mini ICU set up in our Landry room. The Vet gave me a special spray they use to kill all the germs and we had to clean EVERYTHING in the house. I could not have any puppies at my house for over a year in case outside still had the parvo virus on the ground.
Unfortunately I brought Parvo back from a dog show
to a litter of 5. Take care and Our puppy we ended up keeping and his name is Trooper and is on our Foundation page http://www.goldringkennel.com
