2nd Aussie

Thinking of getting a second Toy Aussie. Mine is very loyal, jealous and loving. She likes to play with other dogs her size, but is intimidated by bigger dogs.

Anyone have two Aussies? How do they get along?

Great ideas

I got an second Aussie 4 months prior to my 14 year old passing way. best thing I ever did.
My only regret was losing kruger,(uncontrolable). but seeing the two of them play and Kruger teaching millie (new girl) thing was beyond priceless

We had had two female mini Aussies twice. Both times they got along beautifully. They were always together with us and loved playing and cuddling with each other. We now have a Border Collie and a mini Aussie. Same thing!

The More the Merrier

I have two Aussies and they are absolutely inseparable. They are less than a year a part in age so they have very similar temperaments but completely different personalities so they complement each other perfectly. However, the first few days were a little rough. My first Aussie was also very jealous and protective of me in the beginning and wasn't too jazzed to have a new sister. But after the first week, they were two peas in a pod. Just make sure you give the first one plenty of space when they need it, especially if you get a puppy and they always want to play!
