8 Month Old Aussie With A Yellowish Eye Discharge

My 8 month old male blue merle has a yellowish discharge from both eyse mostly in morning but some throughout day. My vet said not to worry if it does not seem to bother him and it doesn't. Is this possible seasonal allergy or do you think something more serious?

Aussie's eye discharge

Hi,
I have an Aussie with the same problem. It is allergies. She did not have it for the 1st year and a half of her life. You can use saline to flush it out. My Aussie also has a type of eye where the eye lashes turn inward and irritate her eyes all the time. She had surgery but they still get irritated.
Follow your Vet's advice and if you really get concerned, take your Aussie back to the vet.

well, I guess if you took him to the vet, and he said it wasn't anything, he would know, but from what I've read, it could be anything from allergies to an infection of a sort. did the vet at least give you some eye drops? if not, mybe you can pick up a natural one at the health store,and you can do that.
