9 Week Australian Shepherd Pup

My Australian Shepherd puppy hates to go outside. I try taking her for a walk and she fights the leash or cries the whole time. An when I take her outside to go potty she won't go. She'll lay by the door crying until I let her in where she promptly goes on my floor. How can I stop this? Is their any tips to help me?

Aussies just hate to be by themselves. You should try to go out with her at least until she is reliably housetrained. You also might want to consider enrolling her in a positive reinforcement puppy class. Until then, put a treat in your hand and lead her along with the treat in your hand to get her to learn to heel. Go 2 or 3 steps, praise her and then give her the treat. Keep upping the ante with more and more steps until she is heeling by your side.
Make it Fun!

Try to make it fun for your pup to go outside. Bribe her with treats, take a favorite toy outside, or talk in a higher pitched, happy, excited voice when you're outside.
OR, you can try finding another dog who you pup likes, and having that dog come to your house. Let the 2 dogs outside, and, chances are, your Aussie will follow the other dog, and they can continue playing outside.
