Green Poop

by Lisa
(Virginia)

For about 2 days our Aussie's poop was green (almost Kelly Green). She is up-to-date on all her tests, shots, meds and is perfectly active and healthy. The green poop looks fine except for the color. I suspect she ate something the children might have gotten from a party - because I found part of a plastic bag in her crate. She also pooped out a little piece of plastic bag (in the green poop). Am I wrong in suspecting maybe she ate cookies or candy... maybe chocolate?

Note from Anton: Can you find out from the people who hosted the party what goodies they gave along (and if there was something green). Also, how much of the plastic bag came out? There could be the potential of intestinal blockage. If you notice constipation you will want to have a vet check her out.
