How Much Are Puppies Supposed To Weigh?

I recently got a new Aussie. He is just over 2 months old now apparently and is already 22 lbs. My question is is this a normal size? He is not fat and we exercise regularly. I think the original owner may have exaggerated the birthdate. Answers please. Thank you!
