We have two lovely sisters in shelter, but they are short haired. They have the color and the eyes.

There are no short hair Aussies, but they could be Aussie mixes. They also could be Catahoulas that can have similar markings and blue eyes.

Yes aussie can have short hair, I had an aussie who had short hair, just had lots of hair on butt area & around her collar. she was a red merle & looked like a golden, but YES she had papers. Was the best dog I ever had, she had 1 set of pups & I now have 2 of them. Aussie are not a dog for everyone that's why she only had 1 set of pups just 2 months ago I recsued an aussie people had for 1 week & could handle her, she's almost perfect now. 3 walks a day, & running with 4 wheeler I LOVE AUSSIES PLEASE be smart when adopting theses beauties
