Mickey Moo

Our eight month old Aussie has brought so much joy into our home. We brought him home when he was three months old and we can't imagine our lives without him. He was named after Mickey Mantle, thanks to my husband the Yankees fan. Mickey is very affectionate and loves to cuddle. He is very active and loves to play sports. And he was very easy to train -Aussie's are so smart! Mickey adores children and is very protective of his family members. Australian Shepherds are the perfect family dog!

I am a Red Sox fan as well! We live in a sports divided household. I figured I'd let him be a Yankees fan, but I draw the line with football... Pittsburgh Steelers all the way! Mickey loves to "play" football and wear Pittsburgh attire.

It does look as if Mickey is in deep contemplation. Thanks for the response! Enjoy your little one-they grow so fast!

Your pup Mickey looks JUST like my (now 3 year old) Jake. Even though Jake like his owners is a RED SOX fan. We call the look I see in this picture his "chimp eyes" -- the very, very intelligent expression he wears when he is watching and thinking. Jake is likewise a smart and loving guy. Enjoy!
