Aggessive Behavior! HELP!

by Liz Owens
(Pearland, Tx USA)

I have a Australian Shepherd Lab mix and he is starting to show some aggressive behavior and I don't know what to do, I don't want to get rid of him, I have had him since he was a puppy and he is almost 2 now. Does anyone have any tips or advice on how to solve this problem?

Note from Anton: Training and leadership issues are generally at the root of aggression. Dogs can get aggressive for various reasons including territorial and fear issues. You can find articles on dog training and behavior issues here. Dog training programs like this one also cover info needed to deal with aggression in dogs.
