Aggression With 7 Month Old Australian Shepherd Puppy

by Matt
(Philadelphia)

Every time I have company over my 7 month old Australian Shepherd will bite them. I am not sure of why but once she broke skin while my brother was leaving the group. I am not sure of how to handle this situation because I want her to be good with people and not scare them.

Discouraging biting behavior

When she bites or mouths too much, say no very firmly and turn your back and ignore her for a while. Tell guests to do this, too. Works well if you are consistent with it. They are smart and catch on fast.
