Any Advice For Aussie And German Shepherd Puppies To Get Along?

I am considering getting an Aussie puppy. They are currently 4 weeks old I would be picking them up when they are 8 weeks.

My roommate just adopted a 9 week old German Shepherd. Any advice for the 2 puppies to get along as they grow up?

Only comment I have is that a male and a female usually get along better than same genders.
