Aussie Home Alone

My partner and I are hoping to get a Mini Aussie very soon! I am able to take off 2 months from work to get it settled into a routine and training. After this time, I will work from 7-3 each week day.

I would be able to put him in doggy daycaretwo days a week as I have heard from Aussie owners that T/Th in daycare can lead to a calm W and Fr.

If left cratedwith a mind stimulating puzzle, is it possible for an Aussie to stay home alone 3 days a week?
