Australian Shepherd Chewing/Biting Issue

I have a 16-week-old male Australian Shepherd. From the day we got him at 8 weeks he has been a big fan of chewing on his people and not toys. We have been trying redirection and giving lots of treats for good behavior but we can’t seem to break this habit.

All of my kids' clothes have holes in them and at this point, he will even nip at faces.

Did anyone else go through this with their Aussie pup and how did you get it to stop? He has been in puppy trainingclasses but it’s not helping this behavior much.

The best tip we received and what stopped the biting and nipping for us was peppermint Binaca (yes the breath spray). We only did it about 2-3 times in the mouth (with all the squirming it was hard to get it in his mouth), but now we just spray it in the air or show him the bottle and he stops the behavior.
