Bow Legged Puppy

I have a 4 month old Black tri Australian Shepherd male. He has endless amounts of energy and will run all day if you let him, he seems to be completely healthy except he has a slightly bow legged appearance in his hind end. Its not severe, could it just be his back legs are longer than his front? Or should I be concerned. This is my first Aussie pup!

Bow Legged Aussie Puppy

Hi
I can't tell you if this is normal, but my five month old Aussie also has bowed hind legs. It doesn't seem to slow her down or cause any problem. If you feel you need professional advice, I would recommend calling your vet and ask if this is a common finding. Good luck with your new puppy.

I have my second aussie...when walkig behind him, he looks bowed a little, too. I think that is normal. NELSON
