Certified Therapy Pet "Rio"

My Aussie Rio will be turning 7 in August she is a Red Tri she is such a happy dog and a very sweet and loving nature 2 years ago I decided to share her loving nature and she became a Certified Therapy Pet. We belong to a group called Love on a Leash and Rim of the World Comfort pets.

We visit patients at The VA hospital in Loma Linda she brings smiles to people receiving chemotherapy, we visit patients with dementia and we visit at Retirement homes. Whenever Rio enters a room everyone's eyes light up she has such a bright personality.

I couldn't be more proud of my sweet girl. It's an honor to have her at my side. Thanks for letting me share my story.

How wise and patient to see how loving and interested in people your dog is! I have a rescued Aussie that has that personality as well. He just loves people, and once his training is 100% so he's not jumping on anyone or such, my hope is to be able to do what you do and we'll be looking for a group as soon as his training continues a bit longer :)
