Chocolate poison to dogs

Yes it is and I have first hand experience of it.
My 1st Aussie ate some choclate chips out of the grocery bag in the car. She got ill (throwing up) and right before that she ran around my apartment like someone had shot her with a lightning bolt.
Another friend of mine had an aussie who ate chocolate and had temporary liver damage. PLEASE
don't feed your dog chocolate.
