Extreme Thirst, Panting And Urination After Anesthesia

My 9 year old Aussie underwent dental surgery to remove 2 teeth (slab fractures) and had a dental cleaning 0n 11/4. Immediately following the surgery she has had an unquenchable thirst, panting and urinating frequently.

A Senior Blood Panel was run prior to surgery with all levels a good levels. She had a 2nd panel run yesterday and all levels remain where they were prior to the surgery.

Has anyone experienced this with their Aussie? Do I need to have them check for the MDR1 gene?

Any advice will be greatly appreciated.
