Show Quality Female
by: Anne

Hi,
There are breeders out there that don't do co-own. I rarely co-own something that I breed in my Kennel. Keep in mind each individual puppy's situation is unique and different.
The reason a lot of us Aussie breeders are co-owning is because dogs we sell are being resold and end up in situations where they are bred a lot or bred to minis, etc. It is our way of controlling the breeding aspect as all of us have been burned by someone that one of our puppies.
Like I said each situation with potential puppy owners and puppies is different. Communication with a breeder and letting the breeder know up front what your HONEST intent for the puppy is during its lifetime.
If you have more questions or need some direction as a breeder, I may have one for you.
You can e-mail me at goldringkennel@aol.com.
