His Smile

My Handsome Scout

My Handsome Scout

Scout is 4 years old, he was 8 weeks when we got him, his mother was a blue merle and she had been bred for 10 years, at 12 she delivered 10 pups. The owner didn't even know she was expecting, so we do not know what mix Scout's father was, but he is an Aussie through and through.

He has the most wonderful smile, he is smart, quick, loves to do agility in the back yard and just gives our family unconditional love everyday. We just rescued a Brittnay Spaniel/Aussie mix (Nash), from Tennessee, and Scout has been teaching him the rules of the homestead. They are now considered "The Boys". There isn't anything like an Aussie, purebreed or not.

They are adorable. Isn't it nice when you can have two dogs... I have two "girls" that have a great time together.

My 1st Aussie was an Aussie/Lab mix. He herded everything in sight, kept my kids safe and chased pitbulls from our yard. He loved kids and lived for 14 1/2 years. He had an extremely long coat, unlike many Aussie/lab mixes. He made me laugh everyday. He had the hugest smile that would scare people to death. They thought he was going kill them, but he was just happy to see them.
