"Honey"

by Gilbert
(Rio Rancho, New Mexico, USA)

Our brave and courageous red Aussie battled epilepsy after she turned seven... she passed on 1/4/2011 at the age of 10 1/2. My girl, athletic and affectionate, and always looking to please. OH! The treasure I found in you. You are a true Champion to me.

I feel your pain
by: Wilda

I am so sorry about your loss. We too lost our boy, Luke, at age 5 to epilepsy on sept 11, 2010
Remember the good times, be grateful for the years you had, and mourn your loss, then, if possible, find your joy again.

Honey

I am so sorry for your loss. We lost our first Aussie, Carly, one week before her first birthday. Not to epilepsy but to a gastrointestinal hemorrhage. It was unexpected and tragic.

We now have two female Aussies that are 16 months old. Bailee is a blue-eyed, blue merle mini Aussie and Maggie is a brown-eyed black tri Toy Aussie. We will never forget Carly, but Bailee land Maggie have helped to fill that huge void in our hearts.

I hope you will find a special Aussie to fill your life.

I know Your Pain
by: Marie

We just lost our black tri buddy on the 8th after 12 of the most wonderful years together. She had just been diagnosed with cancer in her left hind leg before Christmas and it was downhill from there. She had also been battling Cushings Disease for the past year. We enjoyed our last weeks together me helping her get through it and she helping me get through it. She was the BEST and the void is huge. I think getting a new joy again will help--we have already started looking and I know it won't be the same, but it will be a new adventure. So take that step and bring joy into your life again.

its just not right

I think we all need to band together and help find a cure for Aussies and epilepsy. its just wrong that we should lose them, some so young, and early in their lives and ours.
