How To Positively Interact Your Puppy With Other People At Your Home

by Jessica
(Saskatchewan)

We have a 3 month old girl Australian Shepherd and she is sometimes really good and sometimes really bad when we bring people over to our house. My mom has two miniature Schnauzers and at first she was really friendly and nice and played and then the second time she was very aggressive and would charge them.

I don't want her to be like this when we have other dogs or people or kids over. What is a positive way to interact them so she will not act like that and be friendly towards them. I understand to a point she should check them out and make sure they are ok but if we are inviting them in how do we get her to socialize nice with them and realise like it or not they are coming to visit!! I don't want to have to put her outside when people come over. I want her to be able to visit and play.
