Is There Too Much White on My Puppy's Coat to Show Her?

by Taylor
(Toronto)

Wondering if there is too much white on my pup. I know their coats can change but there is a lot of white on her face and hope this won't prevent me from showing her.

Thanks!!

I am no expert but I do know that the dog must have colour around the eyes, which your pup certainly does. Not sure about legs and feet, you could check on an Aussie club website where they post correct colouring. And yes, their coats do develop with age. My red try has developed very cute freckles!

What I can see in the photos looks acceptable. Standards say that color must surround both eyes and both ears, which it does. Her blaze will shrink some as she matures. Otherwise and not visible in pics, white collar can't extend beyond withers, no body white above elbows, no white up the stifle into the body.
