Is This An Aussie?

by Marissa
(Virginia Beach, VA)

I got this tiny little puppy at 8 weeks old off of an ad on Craigslist. She needed a home or was going to be taken to the shelter. She is now 8 months old and 38lbs. She loves the water, she is extremely energetic, social, and loves to play fetch. I see a lot of Aussie in her I think maybe she is Aussie/Border Collie mix? What do you think?

Hi, I have owned three Aussies over the past years. Your puppy looks like she definitely have some Aussie in her. The ears, nose and general shape looks like she may be mainly Australian Shepherd. Congratulations she is very cute. I know you will enjoy her.

Your pup is absolutely gorgeous. I do see some Aussie in her, particularly in the head - she has the Aussie grin and the 'fritzes' by her ears.

It sounds like she has found a wonderful home - congratulations to you both!
