My Australian Shepherd Debate

Hi all, I would like to acquire an Australian Shepherd puppy. I am doing lots of research: information about the breed, needs, how to give proper care, training classes in my area, budget etc. as I know it's a big commitment. I feel confident that I'm capable of becoming a owner at this time but I'm thinking about the future...

One of my biggest concerns is: what if we have a baby? How will my dog adapt? Obviously I'd have to have rules and train baby and dog, and never leave them unattended etc, but I'm still worried.

Can anyone share any stories? Good or bad?
Should this be a factor in my decision?

I have a miniature Red Merle and she is smart, funny, playful and rough houses with my sisters pit bull and lab mixed..they are wonderful dogs...she love kids, adults and other animals...trust me...you won’t be disappointed...I love my lil girl💜🐾💜🐾
